How We Started

Country Man Candle and Care, a creative journey that began in November 2024, started as a way to combat boredom. The cold weather outside made outdoor work challenging, while indoor tasks felt monotonous. One day, I ordered a small candle-making kit with my youngest daughter, and it sparked an unexpected passion.

From that moment on, we expanded our craft to include larger wax melters, a wider range of scents, and larger containers. While my daughter and I enjoyed our candle-making sessions, the other two kids weren’t too thrilled about relinquishing their table as a crafting space.

Our creative journey continued, leading us to explore soap-making. Although we currently use melt-and-pour soap, we plan to transition to cold-press soap making later this year, launching an Artisan Soap line. Stay tuned for more updates!

After mastering soap, we ventured into lotion-making, which eventually evolved into hand cream. Through careful scent combinations and several batches, we created a delightful hand cream that was neither greasy nor overly moisturizing, perfectly suited for dry hands.

Inspired by my daughter’s entrepreneurial spirit, we decided to turn our passion into a business. Initially, she envisioned running a cash register on the streets, but I had reservations about the logistics and the harsh winter conditions. I suggested that if we pursued this venture, she would need to work hard and that the products we created would be for God and He would use what we do and the message we include in every package for how He sees fit.. She embraced this idea, and we set out on our entrepreneurial journey.

Our official launch took place on March 1st, 2025, at midnight EST, marking the beginning of our creative endeavors.
